Reasons Why You Should Never Drink Soda Again JANUARY 22, 2016 — By Joe Welkie We've all learned by this point that soda is not the best thing for you to drink. Despite the constant ads for different sodas on television, more people than ever are shying away from the beverage in order to lead healthier lifestyles. If you need an extra push to stop drinking soda, we have a few reasons why you should never pick up the bubbly soft drink again. If you've already quit drinking soda, here are some more reasons to rub it in your soda-drinking friends' faces. 1. Drinking soda alters your metabolism and makes it harder for you to burn fat and lose weight. 2. Sodas contain hefty amounts of caffeine, which can negatively impact a wide variety of illnesses ranging from heart palpitations to incontinence. 3. Drinking just one soda per day can dramatically increase your risk for type-2 diabetes. 4.Drinking sodas (even diet sodas) can cause you to gain a ton of weight. 5. If you pour milk into a bottle of Coke and let it sit for 6 hours, this is what you'll find at the bottom of the bottle. Would you want to drink something that does this to milk? 6. Soda is linked to asthma. Researchers performed a scientific study on soda drinkers and found an association between a heightened risk for asthma and other breathing conditions and drinking more than half a liter soda every day. 7. Soda consumption is also linked to teen violence. A recent study has shown that teens who drink soda regularly are most likely to get involved in violent altercations. Regards Sunder T – 20160123.

sunderblogger.blogspot.NotProudToBeIndian Indian tragedy is that one Indian destroys another Indian, not in self defence (which would be bad enough), but our of sheer devilry. There is something in the makeup of the Indian that drives him to foul his own nest. "Dog does not eat dog," we have heard,; but we have all seen an Indian making mincemeat of a fellow Indian and enjoying it. An Indian hates to see a countryman of his going up or prospering. It makes him mad, and he does his best to pull down the follow who is climbing. Have you ever seen a fisherman carrying on his head an open basket full of live crabs? None one gets out, Why Simply because its pals dran it down. Well India is like that basket of crabs. The result of this charming attitude is that no Indian is allowed to make the best of his position or to do the work that is dearest to him. He is always being sniped at. Regards Sunder T 20160122

Indian & Indians: Love, kindness, friendship, decency, fair-play, cooperation, civism are for Indians are like lichen on a rock; they do not penetrate to the root of his being. But why be squeamish? Our Indian is essentially a go getter. Success-he must have that any cost. And this success must always appear in the form of the Mighty Rupee. The American, it is said, despises failure; he thinks that this ignoble condition is a sign of heaven`s displeasure. The Indian is not quite like that: he understands failure, and coolly puts it down to his bade deeds in the past life; but he seeks and glories in his triumph. The simply means more respect here below and a better prospect when he has gone to the other world. All said and done, Indian must have a label the more glittering the better. The big fish, said Chekhov, live upon the small, Why? Nobody knows. It is nature`s way. One Indian, big or small, devours another Indian. Wherefore? This is a dread secret. All I can say is that strict vegetarianism seems to lead, by come cosmic perversity, to dutiful cannibalism. (will continue in next). Regards. Sunder T. 20160122.

DigiEdu4all, fee-free, online.20160118 The idea behind moving to the cloud is simple. Just like Airbnb is taking people`s rooms that are unused to give traveler`s access to a lot more rooms. Uber is doing the same with Taxi`s and we will see similar changes in healthcare and electricity as well. The cloud works on the same principle. It`s about using resources more efficiently. It`s not rocket science but it brings huge benefits. You can increase efficiency by 30% or more by moving to the cloud. Moving to the cloud comes with a lot of advantages such as lower costs, quick scalability and greater accessibility. These benefits are also coupled with larger benefits to the environment as we utilize energy more efficiently and produce less waste. Regards. Sunder T

You will not believe what this Chandigarh man did when he ran out of money to serve the poor!!! To Offer Free Meals to The Poor, This Man Sold Almost All His Properties At 1 pm everyone stands in a queue for “baba’s free meals” in front of PGI and the Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh. 80-year-old Jagdish Lal Ahuja has been serving free food for 33 years to the patients and their relatives outside the two hospital buildings. He serves free meals which include chapattis, dal, halwa, a banana and a pack of sweets or biscuits. Things can go wrong on a day, bad weather could ruin everyone’s schedule but nothing changes for the kind man. Even when he went out of funds to organize the daily free meals for the poor, the philanthropist sold one of his properties to keep going on. He has so far sold 7 of his properties worth crores to raise funds, according to an Indian Express report. The man, who started these humanitarian activities 35 years ago, organized his first free meals on the 8th birthday of his elder son. The free meals were held outside his shop and since then the he has never stopped feeding the needy. What started with feeding a few poor children outside his shop, now feeds thousands of patients and their families outside PGI and GMCH-32. “Once, while passing through PGI, I saw a man sitting near the boundary wall of the institute, who was distributing rice to poor people. I asked if no one stops him, he said no. The next day, that was January 21, 2000, I started distributing free food to people outside PGI.” Apart from food, Jagdish Lal Ahuja also donates blankets, socks, shoes and sweaters to the poor. “Serving food to the poor gives me immense satisfaction and peace of mind. Moreover, the spark in the eyes of children and smiles on their lips when they see the food is what motivates me to do more and more for them. Until my last breath, I will keep serving them free meal.” Jagdish Lal Ahuja was born in Peshawar. He came to Patiala during partition at that time he was only 12 selling toffees to make ends meet. When he came to Chandigarh, he started selling bananas on a hawker; he worked hard and later, became the banana king of the city. The 15-year-old tradition of serving food to poor people outside PGI and GMCH-32 will come to an end on January 21 2016 as 81-year-old Jadish Lal Ahuja, popularly called as ‘baba’, has become ‘too old’ to continue the free meals. Salute to this Great Personality, his free meals will come to an End on21/01/2016!! Sunder T. 20160116

sundercircle Fairs and Festivals Ganesh Chaturthi Mumbai Festivals are linked with traditional values, cultures and customs. These festivals depict the nature of human relationships and popular beliefs. Also, these festivals pass on past traditions to the present generation to make them aware of the associated rich culture and tradition. The most common festivals of the city account to Dussera, Moharram, Shivratri, Christmas, Budha Purnima etc. which add more color and vibrancy to Indian culture. Festivals are generally celebrated either to honor religious occasions or to welcome various seasons of the year etc. Most of these festivals are common throughout the country but might be known by different names and marked by different rituals in different regions. Even though Mumbai is a cosmopolitan city, all the festivals are welcome with great vigor and color. For instance, Mumbai has a great section of Parsi population and hence the Parsi New Year is celebrated with great passion. Ganesh Chaturthi is the major festival of Mumbai which lasts for ten days and is held during August-September. This festival is seen as a truly feisty celebration of the people of Mumbai. The festivals of Holi, Raksha Bandhan,Dusshera, Navratri and Diwali are the prime occasions for the Hindus, while Eid is celebrated with great fervour by the Muslims. sundercircle The people of Mumbai are considered to be a chirpy, tireless lot who are streamlined for a fast paced life in the city. Colloquially known as 'Mumbaikars' or 'Bombayites', the inhabitants of this city are often considered as hard-working, cultural, witty, modern people, who are passionate about their lives and are very approachable. It is hard, or almost impossible to define a true Mumbaikar, because a true Mumbaikar is one who is the perfect transfusion of North-meets-South, one who is passionate about cinema, one who loves food, shopping and can be quite pompous about the typical life led in the city every day. Distances from one place to another never seem to bother Bombayites, because it is very common to travel for hours in order to reach one place from another. Mumbaikars are very particular about time and love to be punctual. A blend of different communities, religions and customs, the diversity of the city enables the inhabitants to live life to the fullest and work extremely hard to make all ends meet. Although technologically and industrially advanced, the people of Mumbai are deeply enrooted to their values, religion and principles. Read on for more information on the people of Mumbai.Regards. Be a 5-Star Person! The lobby of a 3-star hotel is less comfortable than a 5 star hotel and even less comfortable than a 7-star hotel. If we ask people what is the difference between all these lobbies, the various responses that we get is tha the service is better, the ambience is better and so on. But the real reason being the space that it offers. The same goes for our inner world. When we make more space within ourselves, the more staff (people) associate with us and the more stars we get (being liked and loved). The inner world has no limitations, it does`nt and with 3-star or 7-stars. It can go into billions of stars- Manoj Lekhi. NotProudToBeIndian: Mindset on money- Because ot this abnormal stress on money, Indians tend to live beyond their means. Why? They must impress others. Face-saving is known to the West as a Chinese peculiarity. The credit seems to have gone a wrong people: Indians always tried to appear more than they actually are.Yes, Indians are worshippers of money. The Indian who is not, is, psychologically speaking, hardly an Indian. He has some other layer of his personality stirring within him. Matter is, we know, feminine. Think of Prakriti. So our Indian, like a woman, has his wish and will; he can not reason detachedly. He is imprisoned in his emotions like a fly in amber. (will continue next time). Regards. Sunder T. 20160113

NotProudToBeIndian: Why this craving for money for an Indian? We could not help our soil and climate. could we? Because things could be grown easily and plentifully in India and because the weather did not impose continuous hardships, the mass of the people exerted themselves but little. However, there wiser folk, and these, by dint of toil, succeeded in accumulating wealth. Naturally, in times of famine and bad days they came to be looked upon as fortunate beings. Gradually, those who had savings, earned or inherited, came to dominate the imagination of the multitudes as people inherently great by virtue of the cash they possessed. Ultimately, the man who had money began to symbolize everything desirable. Indeed, he wa a favourite of the gods. That this was known to our ancestors is beyond doubt. A poet of the sixth century, Bhavabhuti, had put the matter in a nutshell: "all qualities cling gold". A man with money is handsome, wise, young an what not. Many an Indian father or mother, even today, marries off a pretty daughter to an ugly toothless man because he is rich. Wealth in India covers a multitude of sins. (will continue in next). Regards. NotProudToBeIndian: An American lady, wishing to come over to India during the lean days of 1950, enquired of American officials as to what she should take with her to alleviate in some measure the miseries of the people. "Shall I take rice," she asked, "or what, or canned foods, or medicines?" The man in charge listened to her patiently, grinned and said: "Lady, what Indians need most is CASH." CASH! Tat cerainly is what we Indians welcome most. I am afraid we are, have been, and will long remain worshippers of what D.H.Lawrence rudely called the Bitch-Goddess. For us she is a shining deity. Life4living - Be Content, Be Happy. There is a famous phrase in Hindi that says "The content man is always happy". Yet unfortunately very few of us have tasted the sweet fruit of happiness derived from contentment. A discontent person has the habit of building castles in the air while he is as poor as poor can be. Hence, we should remember that just food sustains the body, so does the mind find sustenance in happiness. So, the saying goes; there is no food as good as happiness. As Alfred Noble rightly said `Contentment is the only real wealth`- Rajyogi Brahmakumar Nikunj Ji in in Inner Truth Vol 11, issue No. 136 of DNA, local paper. Regards. Sunder T - 20160107

NotProudToBeIndia: An Indian may be a god or a devil. I have said, but he is definitely not a plain human being. Well, what makes him tick? It is not my intention to juggle with words. I am going to call a spade a spade. The Indian is said to be the most spiritual man on earth. This is worse than clotted nonsense. We have propagated the myth because we need something to boast about. Why should we not have a quality that the West is supposed not to possess? Our inferiority in many domains has compelled us to credit ourselves with wings. The fact is, and it had better be started without beating about the bush, we are the most materialistic people in the world. Matter and spirit may or may not be indivisible (let thinkers dispute about this), but our Indian knows that matter takes precedence over spirit.(will continue in next post). Regards. NotProudToBeIndian: A foreigner in England gradually and imperceptibly acquired British British phlegm- that is he becomes sedate: the same person, if he had lived in France, would have turned light-hearted; and if he had been transplanted to the States he would get to be as agitated as a Yank. Now whatever hands, the changes in him would be mostly in behaviour. His core would remain what it was- Nordic or Slavonic, as the case be. The point I am trying to make is that whoever comes and lives in India undergoes a subtle change of psyche. His values alter. The boundaries of good and evil, so clear before, now begin to melt and move. He floats in a void. This is a terrifying experience, but, fortunately, one is not aware of it while in India. One notices it when one is abroad and is looking at things from a distance. The brown earth of India and her blue skies are tempting; their lure is like the lure of the Dhaturs flower, at once exquisite and enslaving. Whoever shares the life of India ceases to be human and humane. He may become a god (a wonderful sight); he may more often turn into a devil (interesting phenomenon); but the warm pulsating blood of man dries up in his veins. An Indian is above or below man; he is rarely just man. To deal with him, we have o deal with new species. Regards Sunder T 20160106

India: There is no doubt that Indian various racial strains have made Indians what are at present- people with no distinctive soul, but with only a many-coloured psyche. But to say this is not to say all. Indian sould, climate and vegetation have played their part in moulding India. As there is a lot of nonsense talked on this subject, let us linger it a little. Every country affects its dwellers in a particular way. A psychologist has observed that a monkey sent to Germany for scientific observation begins to brood and behave like a Teuton, while the same monkey dispatched to the United States reacts like a restless American, always on the go. Nehru, India`s Prime Minister after independence in 1947, a typical example of his fundamental reaction to life and thought-patterns was Western, particularity British, yet he was no more an Englishman than I am the Kahn of Tartary. He was a complex personality, and affords the best example of my contention. Nehru could identify himself closely with almost every type of Indian: he felt with the Naga like a Naga: with the Brahmin like a Brahmin: with Muslim like a MUslim: with untouchable like an untouchable: yet at heart he was none of these. What he was, I am sure, he himself did not know. He had deep urges and large dreams-that is all. Here was our typically complex and contradictory Indian. There is no doubt that our various racial strains have made us what we are at present- a people with no distinctive soul, but with only a many-coloured psyche. But to say this is not to say all. NotProudToBeIndian: Whatever races came to India-they were attracted to her like moths to a flame-had one peculiarity: they refused to be integrated. Despite the terrific pressure of the anonymous multitudes around them, they remained undigested chunks. Hence the Indian prodadox: one Indian reacts like a a Scythian, another like a Sumerian, a third like a Greek, a fourth like an Arab, and so the complicated tale continues. But let us not run away with the impression that our Indian Sumerian is a pure Sumerian. Only the dominant layer in him is that; his other layers are in constant conflict with the Sumerian. Fantastic, it will be said. Not quite. (Will continue in next time). Sunder T 20151229.

Being Indian? But why are we what we are? Aryanism, of which we have become particularly proud since independence, is, if we examine matters without parti pris, integumentary. The essence lies elsewhere. The Indian spirit is basically pr-Aryan. The Dravidian element in it is predominant. (as we see today,) but the total influences go further back. We have the phrase "Mother India"; India is much more than that; she is the Granny of Nations. Her soul (there is, I repeat, no "it" about it) is steeped in the leading and misleading of may civilizations. Sunder T 20151228

Is there such a creature as an Indian? There may be, but I have not found it. An Indian pure and simple is rare as a griffin or an Assyrian bull. How should it be otherwise? The Indian is not a person, but a patchwork. Indeed, he reminds me of Ibsen`s famous onion-one layer, then another, then another, and finally, nothing. It is the peeling, of various layers that causes much trouble. Each layer tells its own tale and, what is unbelievable, is not part of an organic whole. The result is that the so-called Indian is the most contradictory of persons. He is perpetually at war with himself. Not knowing himself, he is unable to understand others. Our metaphysics, wonderful as they are, have tried to solve this confusion, but in vain. Our multilayered soul remains hidden and unfathomable. (to be continued in next post). Regards. Sunder T. A question that haunts all 2.25 billion Indians who rallied around Nirbhaya's case, to protest violence against women. India law on rape is applicable to persons above 18 years of age, and the culprit in Nirbhaya rape case got only 3 years of imprisonment in a remand home. Juvenile Justice Bill, 2014 which permits juveniles older than 16 to be tried as adults if they commit heinous crimes. Is Indian justice a travesty of justice? The system that provides privacy and financial aid to heinous criminal instead of keeping them behind bars-protecting the rights of juvenile rapist but not the rights of the raped woman. Juvenile culprits need no mercy. India should wake up to this reality. Sunder T

The infinite spectrum of creativity has often been perceived as limited to fields like art and literature. With the limitations of the mind, we tend to believe that `creativity` means art, literature, dance or music. But once we transcend the mind, then we realise that from the smallest speck of dust to the largest planet in cosmos, every area is part of creativity; even a glade of grass is immaculately designed and shaped, has been given a specific colour, identity; and consciousness, but which is in sleep mode. When we say `creativity` then whatever our senses can perceive and what is beyond perception, what we can think about and whatever is beyond thinking comes in the realm of creativity, Creativity is much bigger and we need to broaden our vision to understand this. Freedom & Punishment There is a myth among people that the Almighty punishes us for our wrongdoings. But the fact is that HE does not punish anyone; punishment is an automatic process of universal rebalance working itself out through time. It is actually a simultaneous process of realisation and responsibility. Hence we should not really call it punishment, but justice. However, above justice, there is one power that cancels the debts, the imbalances, the sorrow. That power is Love, which in its pure form is called Divine Love and comes directly from Supreme. With great compassion, Divine Love cancels the past, dissolves our debts and releases the soul from its various accounts, provided we love and respect others to the extent we love and respect ourselves. But, if we return to our old habit of misusing our freedom, then there is no alternative but punishment- Brahmakumar Nikunj Ji (this is reproduced for the information and benefit of our members in "sundercircle". DigiEdu4all.joint family.20151117 The Joint Family Cult is a very eastern world charm. In the West, its closer version were more royal living out of a mansion with over 50 people living as one grandeur surname. In the East, it carried a brand too, based on the laurels and accomplishments of its members, than the mercy of a lineage. It continues even now - mostly in China and India. So you can see a few dozen people walk out of a small home, may not be so much in Delhi or Beijing, more so in the smaller towns and more remote districts. There will be kids of similar ages but they may be a generation apart: as one of them would be an aunt or an uncle. Now waning as space does not permit civilised living for so many within a door. They have also waned as the family's old values and ethos were challenged or compromised. I see the scenario more as a hardware store owner who in his 20s started out a venture for a family that included his brothers and sisters besides his own very young children. The business was more a men affair and the household women's domain. So you could walk into the store and see the startup owner sit at the cash whilst other members would be simple salesmen. And at the home, the elderly father in his 60s would decide whom to welcome at home, which neighbour to be friendly with and which neighbour to be treated with a distant grace. The elderly mother would decide the menu but the overall kitchen would the exclusive domain of the store owner's wife, the elder most of the senior generation. As the brothers got married, the family expanded with the newer kid generation thrice the size. So, the two brothers were just the right hands to manage the sales at the store. Until the next generation boy turned 16 when they would be the trainee floating around for the odd jobs. Soon they crowded the salesmen's roles. In the older times, following the ethos, values and disciplines that kept a joint family together, the startup store owner would diversify and invest into another store or another venture. In this age, the owner has a bigger question: should the new investment be for his next brother or for the son? If he would for the brother, that will be just, as the new venture could get more mature and experienced hands. What happens however if the capital is blocked into the brother's business that might not treat the family just as his own? And the son, when he grows does not get a share out of his uncle's business? These questions that were not ever relevant to the old age norms turned very realistic and wise in the new age. So, you might just find several such stores with more pouring hands of salesmen than the size of the daily customers. The sharper, keener and the agile now turned into lazy ducks, sitting pretty, doing little but passing well. The newer store in the neighborhood could swallow its old pride. Or, if the business split into its various members lending financial freedom, so would the families multiply into more homes. Back in the home, the changing tastes and preferences of the newer generation would make the rule keepers job very challenging and often threatening. On the bright side its trusted financial and affectionate support made people more secure. But they also made the newer generation take to life a bit easy, often even lazy! Lineages get threatened by the declining zeal to keep the decree high and above. If the aspirations lose, the financial challenges overcome other needs to separate into more nucleuses. And the old name loses its charm. It does not then matter if the newer may make a name or just keep up with the old. I was at a chemist shop in one of the posh Delhi markets when I saw three generations managing the store dutifully as despite having their Mont Blanc pens and glasses signed off on their attire, they would be so willing to attend to an angry customer. Despite that there were at least six more hired sales guys - some appeared as old as the master at the cash. Yet I could see that the youngest boy in his new age blues wasn't quite so comfortable in listening. The proverbial joint families still live. And they live in Delhi and Mumbai. In Bangkok or Shanghai. The Westminster is very different. Posted 7th September by Prabhat Sinha

Sub: India on cusp of “whatsapp in Finance Aadhar card creator Nilekani believes, India is at the cusp of a big financial revolution, if it were to follow a route to cashless (therefore corruption-free) economy. Aadhar card has already been successful for direct benefit transfers and social security payments, and all these trends can culminate in a game-changing way. These game-changing milestones include the working of existing technologies that are enabling success to people and reducing procedure, paperwork and time. “eKYC makes sure anyone get a bank account without paperwork. The Jan Dhan scheme has opened bank accounts of 120 millions of Indians in a big way. With Pahal, LPG subsidies are now credited into bank accounts of 120 million families. The microATM is deployed in thousands of villages providing banking facilities and remittances using Aadhaar and biometric authentication at the last mile without the presence of the bank”. Today India is at the head of the technology curve. There are 12 projects and only two are approved (Aadhar and Pahal). The balance 10 projects are in the waiting list at present. These Are eKYC, payments, health, education, justice, transparent government expenditure etc. etc. Technology is the greatest equaliser of our times is no long a debate. Through the use of technology we can achieve change at speed and at scale. By understanding incentives, providing convenience and understanding the power of markets, we can root out corruption from all aspects of our society. It will not happen by appointing more Lokpals and more policing and more laws. It will happen through a systematic redesign of our processes. Sunderblogger.220 you are that: Everything in this world can be divided into two categories- perishable and non-perishable-that which go through cycles of change and that which does not change at all. There is no third category! One category is that of truth and the other of falsehood. One category is of the sentient and the other of the non-sentient. So everything is sentient or no-sentient, true or false, perishable or no-perishable. We become whatever we connect ourselves with. If we connect ourselves with the perishable, we become perishable. What is perishable? Whatever comes to an end, whatever changes and whatever has change as its basic essence is perishable. Can we change nature? No, we cannot do that. The intrinsic nature of things cannot be changed. You, inn\ your core, are immortal and imperishable- this cannot change Now the question is, where do you position yourself? In the category of the `imperishable` or that of the `perishable`. Regards. Sunder T.

Sunderblogger.20151107 Tolerant Indians English translation of an article that appeared recently in THUGLAQ--a Tamil weekly edited by CHO is reproduced. The President has complained that the people be more tolerant and understanding – Fantastic and very commendable. Let us analyse our tolerance level and find where we are lacking. 1. Politicians have improved from their corruption target of few lakhs To 1.76-2.0 lakh crores and we tolerate them. 2. Election time – self declaration wealth of 1000 crores, and we never asked them from Where, they got this from their previous statement of few lakhs 5 years back. Not only that we accept his so many privileges and subsidized everything from idlies to plane tickets and “Z plus ‘security and traffic snarls because of their movement. 3. We also tolerate that sons and relatives are the natural choice of becoming their successors in positions like CM, ministers etc. We justify that by saying we are used to Rajah and Zamindars and we accept them as their right. 4. Parliament and assemblies has become circus arena and fish market with shouting, counter Shouting, flinging of objects, and, abuses. We appreciate their heroic sense of responsibility and praise them with poems and lectures on their achievements. 5. For 50 years each successive government have promised to bring in the black money and they are still trying! Endless list of offenders, bank cheaters, fraudsters are published by all media with proofs. But they continue to live the same lavish style and are very well taken care by the Politicians. They scratch each other’s back. We just don’t bother and ignore saying “nothing is going to happen “and just get on with our own miserable life. 6. Fake doctors, fake lawyers, fake teachers, fake medicines fake everything! many times they look better than originals Do we complain – No, Mr. President. 7. Our pride, the” excellent” condition of roads, water contamination, power cuts, hospital hygiene, we never complain and we learn to live them and adjust to realities. 8. Doctors steal kidneys, teachers help students to copy (even a DIG was caught copying recently) bank officials loot the bank cash in their own way, police help the criminals what happens – nothing. It is all TV entertainment news for us. We sit and enjoy the loud talk shows and debates and forget everything the very next moment. We are not ashamed that the rest of world is laughing at us and we are jeopardizing the values of our institutions and students. 9. Government lavishly throws money meant for development for freebies like TV, maxis, grinders, goats, Cycles and laptops (only to their party affiliates) and call it their achievement. We admire them and make posters, cutouts 50-60 ft high right in the middle of roads and garland them. 10. Corruption in all levels and our bureaucracy is brilliant in devising ways to collect money from public. Any alternate or improvement is shot down promptly, by devising method to subvert and bypass them. No can ever beat them in short circuiting the system and make it ineffective. 11. Pakistan crosses our border and beheads our soldiers and China tells us to vacate from our own land. Do we object –NO.? We only warn them and we are tolerant. 12. There is Power shortage, Rape, farmer’s suicide, drought, river water fights between states. Do us Bother. We are only concerned with why Dhoni did not score a century in every test and why Salma Khan did not smile at Sharukh Khan when they met!! We are interested only in show bajjis. Swatch bharath we all take a broom stick and clean where ever it is already cleaned and on our way back throw bottles, cans, wrappers, tissues and what not all along for more swatch bharat !! We all know nothing happens to us if we violate any civic or/and traffic rules or for that matter any rules!! So Mr. President where did you find us intolerant and please be specific so that we can ‘improve” further. Courtesy. Ideas from Sathya of Thuglak magazine

Blogzsunder.wordpress.20151106 India Without make up: Indian politics are becoming a nuisance instead of a guidance factor for democratic India with PM Modi in the seat. Every day some minister will say something and a commotion is created in whole of India. Intolerance is always in the forefront and shows its ugly teeth. The latest the national outrage, by off the cuff remark, “People from north India take pride in breaking the law”. This remark shows lack of sense and denigrates all Indians. It is not uncommon for Indians to break traffic rules, tax rules, etc. but to brank north Indian was not in a good taste. Your views or comments are most welcome. Thanks. In a country where most users access internet for the first time through a mobile device, this should come as no surprise and in India, mobile seems to be the way forward for e-Commerce companies. According to the Internet and Mobile Association of India, out of the 354 million internet users in India, 213 million are mobile-only. However it's not just about the scale of users, but how far they have come in such a short time. The number of mobile users has indeed quadrupled since June 2012 in the sub-continent. Regards. When people have access to the tools and knowledge of the Internet, they have access to opportunities that make life better for all of us. The Internet is critical to fighting injustice; sharing new ideas and helping entrepreneurs create jobs. But half the people on this planet don`t have access, especially women and girls. Internet belongs to everyone. It should be accessible by everyone. Let s call on leaders and innovators from all countries, industries and communities to work together to make universal internet access a reality, as promised in the new Global Goals Kind Regards Sunder T

The Power of Enquiry: Everyone spends their lives within a series of questions and answers. How to solve our problems? How to find happiness? How to avoid suffering? How to make friends? How to gain power and prestige? Of course, in today`s age the series of questions and answers is mostly about how to make money? The Vedic scriptures explain that the important questions are: Who am I? Why am I surrfering? Where am I coming from? Where am I going? who is God? What is the nature of this universe? What is my relationship with god within this universe? Whe a human being comes to the elevated platform of making serious inquiry on these subjects, then human life has real spirtiual value. This what Radhanath Swami wrote in a local paper and is now reporoduced for the information and benefit of the members of "sundercircle". You are welcome to comment. Kind Regard. Sunder T --

sunderblogger..index.htm>

Ocean of Joy

Meditation is moving in the inner zone of emptiness, where stress can never touch you. It is exploring the inner space where you remain absolutely untouched from all ill effects of mind. This inner space is there and we just need the right method to move there; once you have understood and experienced this space, nothing can bring you down from that timeless zone. Being in this zone means, being an ocean of joy. It is not just getting little glimpses of joy for some time and then falling back in the run. We like to think big. But we are aware that every important change begins with a small Step. And the first step we made was in Romania. We started out twenty years ago and we developed several projects in the area of social services for people with special needs. Since 1994, we have continuously made small steps towards helping people with special needs across Romania receive better care, regain hope and above all, live a normal life in their communities. Our mission We aim to enhance quality of life and offer a chance to reintegration for people with special needs. Our vision We envision a moment when all these small steps will result in a meaningful existence for every individual with special needs. In 10 years spent in Mumbai, our Managing Trustee has become one of the most active players in the area of social services for people with special needs and has been particularly noted for projects developed in Mumbai Read more Each of our projects focuses on three key priorities: • To offer an opportunity to individuals with disabilities to reintegrate into their local communities. • To empower individuals with disabilities to realize their potential and become active members of the society. • To create awareness and involve public opinion in accepting and helping people with disabilities. We focus on training, raising awareness, as well as providing special equipment’s and expertise to centers for people with disabilities. In each of our projects, we work as often as possible with locals and we use material resources available in Romania. All our programs have been implemented in cooperation with our local partners, in order to insure sustainability of our activities in the long-term. Determined by our experience during the years spent in Romania, we have engaged in creating our own center, The Dutch House, in order to be able to truly fulfill our mission and provide adequate care at the highest standards for people with special needs. We started our activity as a project group, constantly motivated by the will to help people with disabilities in Romania. Twenty years later, our small group became a powerful team. Our young volunteers have embraced our goals – they are the most important part of a team that constantly grows and includes members from the local communities where we develop our programs. You can also become a member of our enthusiastic group. You will enjoy all the opportunities we offer, while helping those in need.
