DigiEdu4all, feefreeonline http:/DigiEdu4al, feefreeoline.wordpress.com, Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. We like to think big. But we are aware that every important change begins with a small Step. And the first step we made was in Romania. We started out twenty years ago and we developed several projects in the area of social services for people with special needs. Since 1994, we have continuously made small steps towards helping people with special needs across Romania receive better care, regain hope and above all, live a normal life in their communities. Our mission We aim to enhance quality of life and offer a chance to reintegration for people with special needs. Our vision We envision a moment when all these small steps will result in a meaningful existence for every individual with special needs. In 10 years spent in Mumbai, our Managing Trustee has become one of the most active players in the area of social services for people with special needs and has been particularly noted for projects developed in Mumbai Read more Each of our projects focuses on three key priorities: • To offer an opportunity to individuals with disabilities to reintegrate into their local communities. • To empower individuals with disabilities to realize their potential and become active members of the society. • To create awareness and involve public opinion in accepting and helping people with disabilities. We focus on training, raising awareness, as well as providing special equipment’s and expertise to centers for people with disabilities. In each of our projects, we work as often as possible with locals and we use material resources available in Romania. All our programs have been implemented in cooperation with our local partners, in order to insure sustainability of our activities in the long-term. Determined by our experience during the years spent in Romania, we have engaged in creating our own center, The Dutch House, in order to be able to truly fulfill our mission and provide adequate care at the highest standards for people with special needs. We started our activity as a project group, constantly motivated by the will to help people with disabilities in Romania. Twenty years later, our small group became a powerful team. Our young volunteers have embraced our goals – they are the most important part of a team that constantly grows and includes members from the local communities where we develop our programs. You can also become a member of our enthusiastic group. You will enjoy all the opportunities we offer, while helping those in need. Contact us Kind Regards Sunder T
