William Blake said:” He who bends to himself a joy/Does the winged life destroy; /But he who kisses the joy as it flies/Lives in eternity`s sunrise”
Being is consciousness without the attached strings of attachment and ego. Being is a way of seeing the world, and everything in it, through the consciousness of a poet, or an artist, or a sage. Being has no title deed, no desire of possession, no stamp of ownership...
The polar opposite of being is consciousness in the mode of having. The world and everything in it- beauty, wealth, power, and fame- is perceived as possession, something to have, and to hold on to at all the cost.
If being is pure consciousness without ego, having is pure ego without consciousness. In having the ego becomes all consuming my wishes and desires that must be fulfilled, my ideal home, my perfect family, my enviable collection of art and beauty, my good name and reputation, the world as  my private property to do with as I will.

Religion travel is the largest segment in India`s domestic tourism. Close to 60 percent of those travelling within India combine it with a stop at a shrine or an important place of worship. This segment has been growing by at least 35 per cent.
High-end spiritual tourism is the in thing. With increased connectivity and availability of quality accommodation at religious place in India, there has been an increase in this segment.
High-end spiritual tourism includes foreigners from UK, France, Germany, and other European countries. NRIs too form a significant share of the market. However, the biggest proportion is still formed by the affluent businesspersons and their families within India.

we are what our father ate….before our birth
you`re what your father eats, says a new study. An International team has found that a father`s diet while growing up can affect the future health of his offspring-in fact, paternal diet influences lipid metabolizing genes of his children. Researchers discovered that a father`s lifestyle can be passed down to his children because it “reprograms” his genes.

We all have two identities, the identity that we project to the outer world, and the identity that we believe to be us in the inner world. Your fight is nothing but the fight between these two worlds. This conflict between the personalities that you show to the outer world and the personality that you reveal in our inner world are called `tension ‘the uneasy feeling between these identities creates disease. Both the identities are pure myths; both are lies! You are something beyond these identities. The basic truth is that you are much more than these two identities. When you are not clutched from these two identities, you will suddenly realize that you are beyond the two identities. When that happens, these two identities can never bind you again.

What is important to me in my life is respect and self-esteem.
In order to get through life, I feel that a person has to have
respect for others and themselves.  By respecting what others say and do,
even though I may not agree with them, I still respect their point of view.
This has helped me carry on in life without letting what they say or do
affect me physically or emotionally.  Realizing that everyone has their
own personal view of something or someone is important to me.
Self-esteem is something that I feel can carry a person through life.
Always having high self-esteem about you puts up a shield from put-downs
and abuse from other people.  This high self-esteem will help a person
stay strong and let the remarks go in one ear and out the other.
Following this philosophy will help me live a happy and successful life.
By not letting other people bring me down, but at the same respect them;
I will have a better understanding of individuals and life in general.

Subject: Self is Pure Consciousness:
The self is pure consciousness. Your true self is the purest of pure. It is the witness. Even if you are not aware of the Self, it will not lose its identity. But when identification of the Self happens with the body and mind then the self is n a state of delusion, and this false identification and delusion makes you suffer.
Your body is constantly changing; through pure knowledge you could understand how many different bodies you have had and yet you are the very same existence; how many births you took and all those bodies died but you always remained untouched by death.
You are consciousness, pure existence and this body is mortal. The Self is pure existence and a witness. In Self-awareness there is immense joy and in not knowing the Self there is a lot of pain and suffering.
Be a witness. Remain detached. You just be a watcher, a seer; be aloof from all this paraphernalia of the world and the body. Then only you really enjoy otherwise you will suffer as no scenario is ever going to remain in unchanged

Subject: Life is for living
Nature created a human form and from this human form we have to become human beings. Nature gave a tool to our human form: the mind. And from this mind our discovery begins. When we go inside ourselves, we can discover our potentials, our capacities and our nature. We must organize our lives with our minds. If we know ourselves, slowly our human form will progress, will grow. The capacities and the quality of our consciousness will grow.
Age has nothing to do. Ask yourself if you want to live a better life or not. If you want to know more about yourself, or not; if you want to live this life knowing yourself or without knowing yourself. This is what we must learn. Don`t live a life with ignorance; live with awareness, with knowledge. Then you can grow, and then you can progress and fulfill the purpose of life.

Happiness depends on balance. If our external and internal lifestyles are balanced the, assuming we have the potential to get well, all the conditions necessary for healing are in place. How to establish external balance? We should develop a good diet, drink plenty of water, get enough rest and sleep, have regular exercise within our capacity and we need to have an enjoyable or purpose in life or learn to enjoy it. Also it helps to live in a clean and healthy environment. We also need supportive and healthy relationships and should avoid substance abuse…
Happiness or fulfillment is just a state of mind – it comes from within so it is impossible to find lasting peace of mind in only the external world. Sometimes illness could be a blessing in disguise because it can help to start us on that inner journey towards wholeness and ultimate healing…

Jealousy destroys those envying roots and enjoys lasting peace. Just be aware when the feeling of
jealousy arises, and you will be surprise, it simply disappears. Jealousy cannot be overcome
either by escaping from it or hating the object of jealousy.
Understand the way out of jealousy is not be surprising it or denying its existence.
Expressing and encouraging it is also not the way because then you are not ready
to face he jealousy with awareness. Just watch how jealousy arise in you,
how it develops into hatred for the object of jealousy, how it creates restlessness
and frustration inside you and make you lose all of your peace and calm.
Do not condemn the object of jealousy. The object has not generated the
emotions from outside. The jealousy is happening inside you. The fire of jealousy
can just consume you completely if you don’t control it with the fire extinguisher of
you awareness. Once you witness your jealousy with awareness, you will realize
that it does not have a basis for existence at all.  When this happens, jealously
will drop automatically. You won`t have to drop it.

Stress management is one of the most important factors in health and vitality. Emotional and mental stress can often have a direct effect on your physical state. Research shows that chemicals produced over years from unhappy emotions feelings can disrupt the body`s physical balance and lead to disease. Stress and unhappiness has even been known to cause depression, gastrointestinal disorders and fat formation and storage. Stress directly affects the immune system leaving the body more susceptible to colds and flues.

Through history one impression of human nature has been consistent: that man has a multiple nature. Most often it has been expressed as a dual nature. It has been expressed mythologically, philosophically, and religiously. Always it has been seen as conflict: the conflict between good and evil, the lower nature and the higher nature, the inner man and the outer man. "There are times," Somerset Maugham, "when I look over the various parts of my character with perplexity. I recognize that I am made up of several persons and that the person at the moment has the upper hand will inevitably give place to another. But which is the real one? All of them or none?. Subject: Inviting Wisdom to Stay
Our experience tell us that too much human conflict, distress and suffering comes from lack of wisdom. So we would like to have more, and for others to have it too. While a basic definition is that wisdom consists of making the best use of knowledge, it leaves out other aspects, which we can put together by examining various traditions.
While intelligence, cleverness or the ability to appear dynamic is something a person is born with, wisdom is not. One way to increase in wisdom is to move from raw to refined thinking, feeling, reflecting and acting.
Wise being embody the essence of wisdom that is discernment- discernment of right from wrong, just from unjust, wholesome from destructive, truth from delusion. They are usually regarded as compassionate towards others, content in themselves.
They have learnt what is truly important.

If a man has lived his whole life making every moment and every phase of it a beauty, a love, a joy, naturally his death is going to be the ultimate peak of his life`s endeavor.
If death is ugly; that mans your whole life has been a waste.
Death should be a peaceful acceptance, a loving entry into the unknown, a joyful goodbye to old friends, to the old world. There should not be any tragedy in it.
Do not make things small and big, trivial and important. Everything is important. At this moment any death is as important as the two squirrels running on the roof, there is no difference. In existence it is all the same. There is nothing which is great or small; it all depends on you, what you make out of it.
Throw out all the rubbish you are carrying. Life is simple; it is a joyful dance. The whole earth can be full of joy and dance, but there are some who are determined that nobody should enjoy life, smile, or laugh; that life is a sin, that it is a punishment.
Life is a reward, and it is given only to those who have earned it, who deserve it. It will be against existence if you don`t beautify it, if you leave it just as you have found it. So leave it a little happier, a little more beautiful, and a little more fragrant.

If you find it difficult to look at your negative thoughts objectively, imagine that you are your best friend or a respected coach or mentor.
Negative thinking has been an early warning system showing where you need to direct your attention. Thought awareness helps you to understand the negative thinking, unpleasant memories and misinterpretation of situation that may interfere with your performance and damage yourself-confidence. Rational thinking is the technique that helps you to challenge these negative thoughts and either learn from them or refute them as incorrect. Positive affirmations that you can use to counter negative thought. These affirmations neutralize negative thought and build self-confidence. what has peace got to do with happiness? The connection is like that between life and living. For, peace makes life worth living and paves the way to happiness. Peace and happiness are linked so inextricably that there’s no happiness without peace.
What comes first: peace or happiness? Could you be at peace if you`re not happy? The answer to these questions depends on your idea of happiness … on whether you get happiness form external factors or from within.
True happiness comes from a sense of peace and contentment, which in turn must be achieved through the cultivation of altruism, of love and compassion, and elimination of ignorance, selfishness, and greed.

Jug Suralya says in the editorial of TOI, “The elections have witnessed an induction of more than 150 million first time voters. The greatest challenge that the new Indian government faces is to devise ways and means to put to productive use this collective energy which could transform the country economically and socially. The solution lies not in the creation of yet more sarkari (Govt) jobs and adding to an already bloated bureaucracy the answer lies in out-of –the- box thinking: micro financing grassroots entrepreneurs, encouraging self-employment through vocational training, creating sources of productive livelihood instead of creating unproductive government jobs. Unless this is done, millions of India`s “kabutars` (pigeons) will continue to fly out of the country to far-off lands, to perform tricks and sell trinkets and live on the uncertain kindness of foreign strangers, living evidence of India`s begging bowl.” Your comments can be sent to – sunderkt at Gmail dot com – http://sundercircle.wordpress.com – Kind Regards.

Old age is always known to be a curse, but in reality is a blessing in disguise. There are two things involved. One is physical and other is mental. Health one can see himself, but the brain needs additional nutrients by way of having a positive outlook. This positivity has to be kept right till one breaths  one`s last. Old age is full of past experience, learning, and greater sincerity, wisdom and maturity. An mature person can do so many things which are not possible for an ordinary person being of same age. A senior citizen is better placed to give back society precious gifts which was possible for him to give during his youth. This opportunity is available due to nature, and utilizing is one own choice. Learn to know the difference between positive mind and a negative, and the answer will come to you by itself.

India may be the biggest democracy, but surveys conducted on the status of women place India at par with fanatical, despotic nations with no sense of justice or any rule of law.
For one section of Indian society, an entire generation of emancipated women are hooked simple because they do not act, behave or dress like traditional `good girls`.
Innumerable Bollywood film show men behaving like full-blown stalkers and psychos who harass women, but eventually these women fall the gay. In real life, when women out rightly reject such `wooing`,  acid is thrown at them!

subject:    Political reforms in India.
Situation: India, low At 134 positions [183 in the world list]
Due to:     High cost of doing business in India, stemming from procedural complexity designed to
yield rent for those who wield power. The paper work and formalities
involved in starting a business in India is ranked at a poor 165. Worse, when it comes to
enforcing contracts, our rank is put at a scandalous second-last or 182/183, which is
                   unchanged still.
Solution:   A more transparent, business-like regulatory regime would boost investment and
enterprise, and augment the quality of economic growth.
We need hassle-free procedure to boost business activity. Overall, strengthening
transparency and efficiency of commercial dispute resolution, and improving bankruptcy
procedures would pay rich dividends. The bottom line is the pressing need to revamp and
reform the business environment across the board.

Stress and Egoism are very much related to each other. Egoism implies that we think we are more important than others, and that what we believe, is the truth. Ego means our point of view is more important than that of others, more important than even truth. So we are trapped within our point of view. No only we are arrogant about our point of view, we believe in our infallibility. Arrogance and stubbornness create stress.
When self-interest or ego prevails in our mind, we begin to compete with everyone for everything, no matter what the cost. We do not see beyond our self-gratification.
Drop the “I” and “mine” and live in the “we”. The universe is one. Without the ego, we experience a beautiful connectedness with everything else in the great chain of being; with the birds, stars, sky and trees. It is this connectedness that is know as `Nirvana`. Reality is unity, and illusion is division.
We have to trust the universe with its own ways of opening and closing windows of opportunity and doors to happiness and prosperity. Impatience is a result of lack of trust. We trust our ego and not the miracle of life.
Best Wishes

The fact, that society is a very densely connected network in which we are nods, and links represent our numerous social, professional, or family relationships. The most important revelation about networks- the one that is exciting scientists from all disciplines-has little to do with small worlds. Rather it is the realization that networks appearing in all different segments of nature and society are indistinguishable. We now understand that real networks are far from being a bunch of nodes randomly linked to each other. Instead, a few hubs, nodes with an exceptionally large number of connections, keep most networks together. A few individuals with an extraordinary ability make friends keep society together.

Manners make the middle class in any country.
Catching up with the west begins with good manners; not cars, stereos or even blue jeans. It is simply a matter of putting the horse before the cart. Manners are all about how we treat others whom we don`t know personally, and probably never will. As early as 1873, Professor Thomas E Hill wrote a book “Essential Handbook of Victorian Etiquette”. He mentioned:
01. Do not always commence a conversation by an allusion to wealth,
02. Do not call upon a person in reduced circumstances with a display of wealth, dress and equipage.
03. Do no make a parade of being acquainted with distinguished or wealthy people or visiting foreign lands.
04. Never be over-boastful in praise of one`s country

I has always been a big question –how to control the mind? It is not so easy to do this.
The Sufi way is not to control the mind but to silence its constant chatter and find peace through stillness. This method is called Gibberish medication, which appears to be very strange, but it is the most effective one.
The conception of mind is nothing but gibberish. Put it aside and you will have a taste of your own being. Simply allow whatever comes, without bothering whether it meaningful or reasonable. Just throw whatever comes, without bothering whether it s meaningful or reasonable. Now after the cyclone has subsided, you can, experience the absolute silence and witness the body, the mind and anything that is happening.

Face your fears with self-respect.
A person whom we call courageous is not one without fear, but one who has learnt to face fear without fear. Fear is the fight between faith, and belief in oneself on one hand, versus the negative idea or expectation you have about your future on the other hand. You are literally fighting with your own positive and negative energies.
The fear that you have about your life, be it fear of failure, fear of losing your near and dear ones, fear of losing your wealth, fear of the unknown and every fear can be used as a door to enlightenment.
Fearlessness means taking a quantum jump into the consciousness where you will never experience fear of losing anything! Fearlessness doe not mean non-existence of fear. It means fear is there, but you have tremendous energy or courage to live with it and face it. Fearlessness means having the energy or the courage to live even with the maximum fear. It is going beyond that fear and being neither attached to nor detached from the fear.

Diversity at the workplace has led to an increase in interaction between colleagues o the opposite sex- so much so, that these days, it just seem to make eminent sense to have a purely platonic girlfriend or boyfriend at the office – a “work spouse,” if you will.
Having a work spouse is more than simple jokes and fun, as they are uniquely bonded individuals who can relate and provide emotional support during stressful times. Even tough by pure definition, work-spouse relationships are platonic. It`s the latent possibility for hanky panky that makes relationship experts wary of such associations. It is too easy for any boy-girl kind of relationships to morph into a dangerous affair.

Multidimensional Life
Though most of us operate from our periphery, often saying and doing things spontaneously, without thinking or planning, we are all eventually guided by our center. What s our center? It is usually that core collection of feelings, beliefs, conditioning, thoughts, biases, prejudices, ideas, perceptions, points of vies and opinions- basically whatever we think we are. This center is often mind based, not being or soul-based, for those things always operate out of silence and love. The soul or being is our real center, as opposed to the mind or ego-based. `Pseudo-center` from where we frequently and unknowingly operate.
Very few of us operate from pure love. Invariably, we tend to operate from fear, or
its subsidiaries, like hate, greed, envy, avarice, mistrust, anger, competition and frustration.
Any truth is relative to the perceptive from which is known. Reality is comprise of innumerable
substances, both material and spiritual, and these too are constantly changing and in a state
of flux.
The well-known story about 6 blind men asked to touch and describe an elephant.
All of them came with different answers, calling the elephant a rope, fan, snake or wall.
All of us see the world from our limited perspective.

The principles of love, compassion and respect for all life are familiar to the western mind but in recent centuries, we have restricted them to human only.
Our birth and existence is dependent on causes outside ourselves, inextricably linking us with the world and denying us any autonomous existence. Indeed when we think deeply enough, the borders between ourselves and the world wash away like water in water.
We and all of nature are inseparable, entwined, one.  Compassion for others should be as natural and instinctive as compassion for us and our own bodies.
We must develop a sense of universal responsibility not only in the geographic sense, but also in respect to the different issues that confront our planet. Responsibility does only lie with the leaders of our countries or with those who have been appointed or elected to do a particular job. It lies with each of us individually.

Liberation can never be an acquisition of the individual. Because liberation is not a person,
liberation is from a person. It is often said by sages that the search or efforts to seek
liberation will end only when the seeker ends.
All attempts made in this direction only further crystallize the identity and discreteness
of the seeker. Desire for liberation is an oxymoron, because liberation is absence of all
desires. Does it mean that all endeavors like medication, devotion, and prayer are
superfluous? It is said that Liberations is merely a blink away. It need no involve any
form of penance; it need not involve any form penance, effort or endeavor.

in our lives we encounter people who harm us, insult us, plot against us, whose actions seem calculated to thwart the successful achievement of our goals. Sometimes these are obvious acts, such as a co-worker who continually steals out ideas or speaks badly of us to our boss. Sometimes, these acts are subtle- a friend, relative or a colleague who unexpectedly betrays us or who we find has been surreptitiously speaking negatively about us behind our back.
Slowly we find that our own actions, words and thoughts become driven by anger and pain. We find ourselves engaged in cunning thoughts of revenge. Before we realize it, we are injuring ourselves by allowing negative emotions dominate us. The insulted us or plotted against us or sabotaged a well-deserved achievement at work. But we injure ourselves more deeply and more gravely by allowing our hearts and minds to darken.

It is said that Liberation is merely a blink away. It need no involve any
form of penance; it need not involve any form penance, effort or endeavor.

While the body is transitory and has a normal curve of birth, growth, maturity, decay and death and the mind that is encased in the body also goes along the same route, the soul is beyond death and destruction and joins the cosmic pool when it leaves the body. But God who created all living beings on this universe embedded humans with a special characteristic –that of an intelligent capable of knowing his non-being also! We live in the past with our memories, we live in the present with our pains and pleasures and we live in the future with vague guess work
Just as the physical body is vulnerable to injury and disease the mind, too, suffers as a result of what we say and do. Medical help is available for bringing the body back to good health. But when the mind suffers an aberration owing to traumatic events the consequences can be tragic for all those who are close to the person so affected and of course, the concerned individual. Treatment for disturbed minds is not so easily accessible. Moreover, seeking psychiatric help is viewed as something only `mad` people do, and so there is a stigma attached.
Hence there is need for counseling centers and openness to encourage people to come forward to seek help. This will help reduce the anxiety and stress levels, leading to a better quality of life for individuals and families and by extension, friends, colleagues and society as a whole. The more depressed you get, the more anxiously you seek isolation that only deepens the depression.

Of Passion and Compassion:
We know what passion is hence it is not very difficult to understand what passion may be. Passion means a state of biological fever-it is hot. You are almost possessed by biological unconscious energies. You are no longer your own master, you are just a slave.
Passion is lust, compassion is love. Passion is desire, compassion is desirelessness. Passion wants to use the other as a means; compassion respects the other as an end unto himself or herself. Passion keeps you tethered to earth, to mud and you never become a lotus. You start rising above the muddy world of desires, greed and anger. Compassion is a transformation of your energies.

Trust is an inner eye. Just as the two outer eyes are for seeing the universe, there is a third eye inside whose name is trust. The eye of trust means the eye of love.
If you love someone you will see certain things in the person what no one else will see. That sweetness delicate and the touch of love are needed for it, only then is it revealed. You will hear the echo of a song in that person that no one else will hear. You will hear it one has to come closer that anyone else has come. Only you are that close.

Subject:  Mind Made Scale
Duality divides. Oneness unites. When we think, we divide ourselves. Thought creates a duality or division- by a `mind made scale` for measurement of good or bad, pain and pleasures, more or less; virtue or vice. Thought varies with time, space individual and object. It creates diverse situations and options. Each person often led to “KARMA” by invisible thought force that drops from the Universal Reservoir of Un-known or Universal thought and karma projects I-ness as distinct from Oneness.
In domain of bodies and flesh, Karmic debits and credits accrue. This apparently symbolizes God-human relationship as a balance sheet. In affairs of body, mind, soul, Nature, time and space, balance sheet cannot be annualized. Settlement of `Karmic` credit an debits of past lives-that may be good or bad- can be done through retribution [payback] in subsequent life forms or when debit waived.
Good thoughts or `Karma`, from spiritual point of view, take consciousness inward and upward. Negative thoughts or bad `Karmas` have tendency to pull mind downward and outward. This is the broad distinction for determining what is `good` or `bad`.
Our own good Karmas and medication may create conditions for that Oneness. But `primordial sin` or separation is forgiven, when Divine act of mercy takes place. Call it grace, or by any other name. It is then that `Karmic` debits and credits are wiped out relationship with flesh finishes, duality dies and Oneness attained.

Fear has many names like dread, worry, panic, anxiety, and it manifests itself in varied ways as in avoidance, procrastination, perfectionism, judgment, control, agitation and violence. Fear usually prevents us from living up to our true potential. Whether we are afraid of the dark, of being abandoned, failure, commitment, flying or public speaking, fear can affect nearly every decision we make.
Fear is part of the problem, sometimes fear is the problem- but when are really paying attention, fear is usually part of the solution.
We easily forget that fear is an essential part of our nature; an alarm system there to get out attention, to push us out of harm`s way. We need to learn to distinguish between unhealthy or neurotic fear that holds us back, and healthy fear that helps us to move on. Unhealthy fear is persistent, exaggerating and even inventing potential dangers; healthy fear stands guard responsibly informing us immediately of real danger.
It is only through facing, exploring, accepting and responding to fear that we free ourselves from its paralyzing grip. If befriending or embracing our fear seems too much, then as a first step, one can simply acknowledge it.

Should India create a sovereign wealth fund? India has foreign exchange reserves of around $280 billion. The practice at present is to invest these funds in sovereign debt instruments of the world`s strongest economies, reshuffling the portfolio to minimize exchange rate losses. The return on such assets is ridiculously low, and is slated to remain low for some time. The opportunity cost is huge. The catch is the integrity challenge.

Having good social relationships- friends, marriage or children – may be every bit as important to a healthy lifespan as quitting smoking, losing weight or taking certain medications.
People with strong social relationships were 50% less likely to die early than people without such support.
A lack of social relationships was equivalent to smoking up to 15 cigarettes a day.
Having low levels of social interaction was equivalent to being an alcoholic, was more harmful than not exercising and was twice as harmful as obesity.

One of the favorite sports of India`s middle classes is bureaucracy bashing. It is an easy game to play and can be quite a lot of fun. Everyone has their favorite, outrageous story about an encounter with the bureaucracy. The inefficiency, corruption, insensitivity, stupidity and Kafkaesque circularity of bureaucratic procedures and rules are legendary. That India`s bureaucracy is one the most stifling and difficult to deal with has now been revealed in a survey. Over a thousand expatriate business executive rated India`s bureaucracy the most annoying in Asia.
The problem with India is no, as we in the middle class imagine, that we have too many idle and corrupt bureaucrats.  The problem is that we have too many rules and regulations and too few officials to implement and monitor the regimes, and bring to book those who flout the rules and regulations. As India`s population grows, the disequilibrium is only going to grow: more rules and regulations to be applied to more and more people by a bureaucracy that is not high enough.
A conclusion: either we expand the bureaucracy or else the government will gradually wither away to the point that India will join the ranks of failed states. That would be a calamity for the Indian people.

Subject: Intellect and Intelligence.
We spent lot of time acquiring intelligence at the expenses of developing intellect.
Intelligence is built by gaining information, knowledge from external agencies, from schools and universities, teachers and textbooks. The intellect is developed through your individual effort by exercising the faculty of questioning, thinking and reasoning. Not accepting anything that does not admit logic or reason. Know the difference between the two.

Not realizing the importance of the intellect in life, people make no attempt to develop their own. Instead, they merely indulge in acquiring intelligence through surface reading of others` periodicals and publications. Education has lost its meaning and purpose. For generation’s human being have turned into intelligence robots and are traversing through life without awareness, much less inquiring into the meaning and purpose of life.

The world today is in a state of chaos due to the perversion in human development- all intelligence and no intellect. That explains why even highly educated business-persons, professionals and scholars become alcoholics, are short-tempered and succumb to worry and anxiety. It is the mind that loses its temper. Again, it is the mind that constantly harbors worry of the past and anxiety for the future. When the intellect remains undeveloped and weak, it is unable to control the vagaries of the mind. Those having developed a powerful intellect, with or without academic distinction, can hold the mind under perfect control and direct action to spell success and peace in life.
The educational systems the world over must be held responsible for the debacle of the intellect. Only by maintaining this essential equation can governments be run, business conducted, professions practiced and families live in peace and prosperity.

One of the essential problems of our society is that we have a tendency,
amid all the craziness that surrounds us, to lose sight of what is truly
human in ourselves, and that includes our own individual needs.
Those very special, mostly non-material things, that would fulfill us,
give meaning to our lives, enlarge us, and enable us to more easily
embrace those around us
We need to reduce the speed limits of our lives. We need to savour the trip.
Leave the cell phone at home every once a while. Try kissing more and
less. And top talking so much listen to other people have something to say,
too. And when they don`t, that glorious
silence that you hear will have more to say to you than you ever imagined.
is when you will begin to hear you song. That`s when you best
take hold, and you become really you.

SELF DEFENCE - SAFETY TIPS
Awareness is the key. Increasing your personal awareness is an integral part of crime prevention,
and perhaps the single most important element of effective self-defense.
An awareness of the reality of crime and violence, as well as an awareness of your environment,
are the keys to your personal security.
1. Trust your instincts: Learn to trust your instincts and listen to what your intuition tells you.
Trust those "little voices" when they tell you that something (or someone) "just don't look right.
" All of your senses should come to full alert, and you should be prepared to take action
(if it's necessary) to get out of the situation or away from that person as fast as possible.
2. Avoid presenting a victim profile: Crime victims are frequently chosen because they are easy targets.
Criminals prey on the weak or unsuspecting, and usually avoid people who are aware of what's going on
and might put up a fight. When people in the eye out in public, look, keep your head up, and walk with
a confident stride. This tells the predator that you are more likely to see him coming and resist.
Without the element of surprise, they will likely pass you up for someone who'll put up less of a fight.
3. Lights, people and noise: "Just use good common sense and remember to pay attention
to what's happening around you, and you will go a long way towards keeping yourself safe...
“Always remember that your greatest allies are lights, people and noise. These are the three things
that criminals fear most, because they increase the likelihood that they will be seen or caught.
4. Your first priority is escape: If you do end up in a dangerous situation, remember that your number
one priority is not to fight, but to escape. When faced with someone who demands your wallet, purse,
jewelry etc... - give it to them, and get out of there. No possession, however valuable,
is worth risking your life over.
5. You must react quickly: One of the greatest challenges to defending yourself is that in the real world
(unlike in the movies) acts of violence usually happen very quickly. When an attack occurs suddenly
(even though there are usually warning signs), you are at an extreme disadvantage,
if you are not prepared to react. Pepper spray, stun guns and firearms are useless
if you can't get to them instantly when you need them. So try to anticipate dangerous situations
in advance (such as walking to your car at night) and prepare yourself to take quick action.
6. The element of surprise: Second to awareness, surprise is perhaps the most important
element of effective self-defense. Using it to your advantage can give you a devastating edge in a
confrontation. For example, you might pretend to be passive, by appearing to submit to your
assailants wishes, only to attack them when they least expect it. You might also try to talk
to your attacker, and then suddenly throw something at their face - and run. In any case,
it will be your ability to stay as calm as possible, while you keep thinking,
that will make the difference.
PLEASE CIRCULATE THIS INFORMATION TO ALL!!!

You sell yourself on going to your favorite restaurant. A husband and wife sell constantly. What movie shall we go to? Who takes the dog to the vet? And so on.
Life is a sale. And the path to success at both living and selling is the same.
Attitude matters. Attitude sells. To see what people really value watch when they put their money where their mouths are-literally. People make them feel good. Develop your skill, sharpen them more each day. People value- and pay more for – the way you make them feel. People buy feelings.

to learn something new everyday is a gift. One realizes this only if one`s mind is open to the world and to life. It could be as simple as learning a new word and its meaning; something that enriches one`s life in even in a small way, for every little bit of learning helps one becomes just that wee bit wiser.
One might like to think one is smart and wise-but the truth is, it is the only with little experience in life that one realizes that life is a gift; it has something new to offer every single day. Suddenly, one could discover a new flower, tree or painting; one tries to understand what it is- physical enrichment because the physical is beholding something beautiful and one`s mind is trying to assimilate what it means.
One can experience during one`s career and travels, meeting people, exchanging ideas- that have helped one to absorb and learn, to share and spread happiness, transcending geography, culture, and relationship.

Subject: Recondition Your Mind.
Conditioning is an integral part of life. Every human being is born in an environment, so everyone is subject to environmental conditioning. There is no exception whatsoever.
So, every one of us is conditioned, one way or other.
Everyone is bound to live a conditioned life. It is everyone`s fate and no one can escape from it. It is a fact that everyone is subject to conditioning but is also a fact that every form of conditioning can be reversed. Conditioning is a phenomenon of thinking. Thinking and counter thinking are both within the capacity of the mind. It is accepted that education is an important tool for personality development. At the same time, one must try to recondition one’s mind; otherwise one cannot receive the fruits of education.
Those who look only at external factors invariably underestimate their own capacity. But those who discover themselves become free of this obsession and can meet all challenges. Recondition your conditioning and you will instantly emerge a new person even better than what you were in the past.

Loneliness
considering the transitory nature of life, it makes sense to not to cling to things. And why are we so serious? Perhaps we are so serious because we have so much negativity.  What cause a paid turns out to be the most beautiful blessing of life. If any source gives pain, feel gratitude for that. For suffering creates the opportunity for change. Sometimes we need pressure and pain to make us change for the better. Pain is a hammer in the hands of the Divine. Divinity is trying to make true figure.
Keep alive your alones. We came from One and we have to become One. One is alone; alone means One. The highest possibilities of life can come in loneliness. When you are two, nothing comes to you, two is a pastime. If our life is happy, if it is full of the divine blessings, blessed by divine grace, it is because life gives us the fruits of loneliness. Only the Divine is alone. The Divine is one. He`s not two.
We should feel gratitude if something or someone gives us the experience of loneliness. Only when we are alone, are we able to understand ourselves, to know who we are, to become aware of ourselves, to see the value of our lives. But we are always afraid of loneliness. Nobody wants to be alone, to be single; we want to become two, and two takes you out from you. Becoming one is a process of life.
If we are alone, we should try to live with this loneliness for a long time. When we live with this and the seed of loneliness is established in us, a beautiful tree comes out. And the tree that comes from the seed of loneliness gives us love, peace, harmony, joy, bliss, everything.

Most of us invariably take a look at ourselves in the mirror at least once a day. The mirror diligently and without being judgmental, reflects what is and what is not. We accept what it tells us without much complaint. We then try to better, in whatever way possible, that which is possible to change for the better and simply accept the rest as given. We take pride in what we have in terms of form, beauty and appearance and try not to dwell too much on what we lack outwardly. We may also resolve and work towards those areas that need to be improved. We step out of the house, with this `approved` confidence, and are ready to take on the world.
Let`s say we are able to hold the mirror to reflect our mind and heart. Chances are that most of us don`t make the effort, perhaps because we my not approve of the kind of reflection we might get to see. It may be too much for our ego state to accept. It is never easy to get ourselves to accept what we don`t like to see n us, especially that which we cannot actually `see`.

Unless this is done, millions of India`s “kabutars` (pigeons) will continue to fly out of the country to far-off lands, to perform tricks and sell trinkets and live on the uncertain kindness of foreign strangers, living evidence of India`s begging bowl.” Your comments can be sent to – sunderkt at Gmail dot com – http://sundercircle.wordpress.com – Kind Regards.

we understand that to be successful is to arrive, to get somewhere; and so we worship success. We`re always thinking in terms of success, in terms of `more`, and the `more` is a relative idea dependent on what prevailing social norms consider to be respectable. If you do not live up to that societal, you are likely to be called a failure. But if you love to do something with all you being, you are then not concerned with success and failure. However, very few have the evolved perspective that allows them space to think this way. The whole concern of an intelligent person is to see things as they are and understand the problem- which is not necessarily about bracketing action in terms of being oriented towards success or failure. It`s only when we don`t really love what we`re doing, that we think in those terms. Didn`t a wise person say; “Success is a relative term; there`s nothing absolute about it?”
What we think of as success today might be thought of as failure in another time and situation and vice versa. It would be in our best interest to view both what we call success and failure as relative states and so treat both success and failure with equanimity.

The best way for awareness of self to happen is slowly, from within, like daybreak when the brightness of the sun is experienced very gently, until it shines forth steadily. Such an experience of Self-awareness would need to happen out of the complete and expectant emptiness of mind, something that waits in hushed silence to be brought forth with divine intervention and the effort put in by the seeker.
This way, as something that comes from within, Self-awareness would help the individual seeker make that cosmic conscious connection with the universal intelligence. You feel it as an effulgent presence, a consciousness that is pristine pure, completely free of any thought. In fact, we cannot grasp the quintessence of spirituality though thinking at all.

Major business houses and multinationals operate out of Mumbai
through their head offices in the city. Mumbai is also the
entertainment capital of the country, producing the largest
number of films and has a large number of multiplexes and
theatres. On the education and healthcare front, the city
has some of the best institutes and hospitals. Moreover it
has the best Public Transportation systems with local trains,
buses, taxis, and autos. The infrastructure projects including
new road, flyovers, sea-links, metro and monorails are being
speeded up. As for real estate, Mumbai continues to be the
most exiting market with a host of residential and commercial
projects getting ready to meet the growing demand.

Subject: Bandra-Mahim Promenade
The beautification of promenade is being undertaken in a way that will depict the many historic as well as recent landmarks, if will give Mahim bay a new identity. The Bandra side of Mahim Bay, now more famous as a lovers` haunt, will get an iconic glass tower, joggers` tract, cyclists` path, and an amphitheatre for cultural evens in a new promenade.
The classic promenade feel is not lost but enhanced more with ornamental and accent lighting and paving materials. The promenade will be at the crossroads of the new road system and the old Causeway. The amphitheatre is in straight alignment with the Mahim Fort.
The beautification project is scheduled to cost Rs. 8 crores. While work on the gardens, parks, and tracks s expected to be completed in six to eight months, the rest of the project will take over a year to be completed.
