If you are lucky enough to be running Android 7.0 Nought,the Allo app can be used in the split screen mode. You also get Google's version of apple's ForceTouch technology on Allo. Just hard press on the icon and you can start a conversation from the homescreen itself along with other options. In addition, there is now support for a GIF keyboard and quick replies straight from the notification pane.
