Maharashtra: This year (2015), the number of suides have increased. The most affected area is Marashwada which is backward region of Maharashtra. The failure of monsoon has created havoc for this region. Drinking water problem is accute. The result is the pathetic condion which is forcing many marginal farmers to take the ultimate step of committing suicide.
