Woman & Sprituality Generally in this culture, there have been more women on the spiritual path than men, but they carried on their spirituality quietly. In terms of numbers, the bhakti movement was difinetely more lalive in the women than in the ment. Yet, one thing that must be understood is, once you are on the spiritual path, regardless of what role you play in your family, you must just look at yourself as a life- Sadhgur, Isha Foundation [ this appreared in a local paper and is now reproduced for the information and benefit of the members of "sundercircl". Love is Action I make strong demands on love, call for witnesses to prove it, and noble scrifieces and grand achievements as its results.... Love cannot be a mere abstraction, or goodness without acitivity and power. As a human quality, the glorious significance of affection is more than words: It is the unselfish deed done in secret; the slient, ceaseless prayer; the self-forgetful heart that overflows. -Mary Baker Eddy, the author (1821-1910) was the founder of The Christian Science Monitor (This appeared in a local paper and now typed for the info. and benefit of the members of "sundercircle". Who or What is God? Who or what is God? The reality is that this is something which cannot be explained, but rather one has to delve within to know it. Know it for sure God is not a person. God is not a supreme human being sitting somewhere up in the sky on his goldern throne. God is beyond the limitations of the mind and body. God is a reality. See, realty is different from the phenomnon of how w perceive things. What we are seeing in this world is so different from what it really is. Similarly, when I say God is a reality, this reality is the esence, the experience of which comes through meditation- Anandmurti Gurumas (This appeared in a local paper DNA, and is now reproduced for the informatin and benefit of the members of "sundercircle". Shift of the Axis What is the shift of the axis? Nature is a reflection of human beings. It shows what is within you. All the upheavals that are taking place in your world are an indication ofthe unrest within humans. And if you are forwarned, you can be very careful and so can avoid death. The undersigned has known cases in which the faith and will power of the person concerned, has helped the person to tide over the crisis. Once the period is crossed over, conditions become normal, until another such period enters your life. There are periods when the soul is likely to leave the body, but not necessarily bound to do so. Mumbai People Mumbai PeopleThe people of Mumbai are considered to be a chirpy, tireless lot who are streamlined for a fast paced life in the city. Colloquially known as 'Mumbaikars' or 'Bombayites', the inhabitants of this city are often considered as hard-working, cultural, witty, modern people, who are passionate about their lives and are very approachable. It is hard, or almost impossible to define a true Mumbaikar, because a true Mumbaikar is one who is the perfect transfusion of North-meets-South, one who is passionate about cinema, one who loves food, shopping and can be quite pompous about the typical life led in the city every day. Distances from one place to another never seem to bother Bombayites, because it is very common to travel for hours in order to reach one place from another. Mumbaikars are very particular about time and love to be punctual. A blend of different communities, religions and customs, the diversity of the city enables the inhabitants to live life to the fullest and work extremely hard to make all ends meet. Although technologically and industrially advanced, the people of Mumbai are deeply enrooted to their values, religion and principles. Sunderblogger.067 Sub: Think India. India thrives on contradictions like no place else; any visitor, tourist, or business representative can expect the unexpected. Relying on a trusted Indian friend to act as buffer and to protect one from culture shock is helpful in this sometimes highly confusing country. At your hotel, they may not serve beef because of the reverence Hindus hold for the cow. Yet you may hear the conversation of Hindu man from Kerala seated at a nearby table telling his wife on a cell phone that he will return home tomorrow and would prefer a beefsteak for dinner. In a temple, where you might expect more familiar rules and behavior, you could be truly shocked to witness a sadhu (a holy man who customarily wears orange) amble in nonchalantly completely nude. Avoid Negtivity: Here are two negative traits (amongst many others) that you should absolutely avoid; Jealousy: One of the things that robs people of happiness is jealousy. When you constantly compare your journey with someone else`s , it holds you back. Be content with your gifts, and also learn to derive joy and inspiration from the accomplishments of others. Tht is how spirit sould live, and it brings us true happiness. Thank God for all you and learn the art ofcontenment. Blaming others: Always look within yourself and you will recognise the source of your pain. Pain can be triggered by someone else only if it already exists within you. So go to the root of the pain. do not focus on the other person. Correct the imbalnce within you, improve yourself, and then try to help others. If I transmit it through the microphone, therough the machinerary of propaganda, and thereby convince another, his/her heart will still be emty. Where are we to find this quality acturally? Yoga Has No Religion: What religion you belong to has nothing to do with your ability to make use of the yogic systems, because yoga is a technology. Technology does not make any distinction as to what you believe in and what you do not believe in. Whatever you may believe in or not is purely a psychological process- it has got nothing to do with making use of a technology. Yoga is Hindu just the way gravity is Christian. Just because the law of gravity was propounded by Isaac Newton, who lives in a Christian culture, does it make gravity Christians? So, Yoga is a technology. Anybody who is willing to make use of it can make use of it. It is ridiculous to even think that there could be a religious tinge to yoga. The fundamental process of my work has been just to take away the cultural tinge from the yogic sciences and to present yoga as a pure science, as a technology that everybody can benefit from. Independent Truth: Dependent or relative truth means that truth which is interdependent on a previous truth to exist. Now, the source of all relative truths cannot be a relative truth; it has to be the absolute truth or independent truth. Ultimately, we have to study that absolute truth. The holy Scriptures are the scientific study o that absolute truth. When we come to the level of the absolute truth, then there is no beginning and no end. This is because they are the source of all relativity, and are transcendental- beyond relativity- Radhanath Swami. This is reproduced for the information of the members of “sundercircle”. Sunderblogger.060 One of the favorite sports of India`s middle classes is bureaucracy bashing. It is an easy game to play and can be quite a lot of fun. Everyone has their favorite, outrageous story about an encounter with the bureaucracy. The inefficiency, corruption, insensitivity, stupidity and Kafkaesque circularity of bureaucratic procedures and rules are legendary. That India`s bureaucracy is one the most stifling and difficult to deal with has now been revealed in a survey. Over a thousand expatriate business executive rated India`s bureaucracy the most annoying in Asia. The problem with India is no, as we in the middle class imagine, that we have too many idle and corrupt bureaucrats. The problem is that we have too many rules and regulations and too few officials to implement and monitor the regimes, and bring to book those who flout the rules and regulations. As India`s population grows, the disequilibrium is only going to grow: more rules and regulations to be applied to more and more people by a bureaucracy that is not high enough. A conclusion: either we expand the bureaucracy or else the government will gradually wither away to the point that India will join the ranks of failed states. That would be a calamity for the Indian people. Best Wishes! Sunder Thadani 20150513

Solitude and Society: A man must be clothed with society, or we shall feel a certain barrenness and poverty as of a displaced and unfurnished member. He is to be dressed in arts and institutions, as well as in body garments. Solitude is impracticable, and society fatal. We must keep our head in the one and our hands in the other. The conditions are met, if we keep our independence, yet do not lose our sympathy. We required such solitude as shall hold us to its revelations when we are in the street and in places. Society and solitude are deceptive names. It is not the circumstance of seeing more or fewer people, but the readiness of sympathy, that imports; and a sound mind will derive its principles from insight. Sensitive as an Opal: A tourist was looking at the display at a jewellery store. Exquisite stones dazzled the eye. But his attention was drawn to a dull stones, completely lacking in lustre, “That`s not a beautiful as the rest,” he exclaimed. “Just a moment,” said the jeweler, taking the stone from the tray and closing his palms around it. Moments later, he opened his palm and the stone glowed with beauty. “This is an opal,” the jeweler explained. “It`s what we call a sensitive jewel. It needs only to be held with a human hand to bring out its radiance and lustrous beauty.” Doesn’t this strike a parallel to emotions that we share with people around us? The warmth, affection and love we give them brings out the beauty in all human relations. Even a glow of happiness in the other person`s eyes and in your heart. Dada JP Vaswani. But that does not mean that you will be angry, against it and antagonistic. You will be blissful. You will bless everybody with the hope that someday, they will also go beyond it. Sex is not a sin. Nobody is ever punished or sent to hell for sex. God has given it to you, you are born with it; you have not created it- like the atom bomb, bayonet, sword, money or politics- these are inventions of the ugly human mind. These people will go to hell, certainly. But sex is God-given gift, and it is a great seed. Once it starts sprouting and finds the right soul, it will become a big tree. Sunderblogger.055 Head understands head and heart understands heart. We try to put the heart in the head and head in the heart and it doesn't seem to work. Your heart feels something beautiful, and you can feel it. When head says something is beautiful, we cling on to the word; it`s there in the mind, but we might not feel what we feel when the heart says the same thing. We repeat the word ‘beautiful’ in the head but it doesn’t seem or feel beautiful the way it would have if it had come from the heart. Let us talk about love. It`s the same thing- you talk too much about love, the word love` gets stuck in the head, but somehow there no depth of feeling. That`s because it`s in the head, not in the heart. In silence, love emits, radiates. We experience ourselves in the things we love more. That is why, when we lose the things we love, we feel hurt; we fee unhappy. We are all floating in an ocean of life; a big life. It is not just empty space all around us; it is lively big life. And in the big sea of life there, all shells are floating and each shell has got a little water in it which is not the water separate from the water in the sea. so, we come out of our shells and experience, “I am not just in the body, but I am expanded all over; everywhere, it`s me there and it`s me here, I see myself in everybody”. Sunderblogger.054 On Hollywood –MGM Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, the legendary 86 year-old Hollywood studio, is filling for bankruptcy. This relates to Hollywood`s style of functioning, marred by overblown budgets, unreal plots, unsure narratives and seeking novelty mixed with realism. In contrast stands Bollywood, the Hindi film industry steadily expanding over the globe. Bollywood`s themes are constantly energized by everyday culture and mythology while increasingly including edgy, experimental stories. Winner of 205 Oscars over the years, it is extraordinary that a studio of MGM`s stature should see such days. Despite holding 4,000 film titles including the sparkling James Bond series, the studio, bought in 2005 by a Sony-led consortium, has been plagued by debts of four billion dollars. It is anticipated that its lenders will now take over most of MGM, forcing it to re-scale operations. MGM`s crisis reflects greater troubles within Hollywood itself. In recent years, American cinema has increasingly been treated not as ‘show business` but pure business. Films have been based on market strategy, distribution networks and commercial calculations as opposed to simply being cinema that delights and thrills viewers through the forceful creativity driving it. Once, MGM made iconic films like Gone with the Wind, Ben Hur, The Wizard of Oz and Rocky. In recent times, despite the hype and hoopla surrounding Hollywood, it is hard to think of many movies which will live beyond their times, seeping into popular memory the world over. Himalayan disaster: The devastating earthquake which rocked Nepal has left many people dead and thousands gravely injured. Earthquakes and other natural calamities are just a reminder of how fragile human life is. Man often thinks that he is very great. Sometimes there is no end to man`s ego. He thinks that he owns the world. But even the to scientists and seismologists become powerless in the face of such calamities. Such tragedies often show us our position in the world. We are just mere mortals and we have no control over so many things. We humans are quite helpless many times as we can never be hundred per cent sure about what`s going to happen next even though we do have loads of data and charts to read. Sometimes plans can go awry and Nature can teach us very valuable lessons. Earthquakes, tsunamis and other natural tragedies only reaffirm our faith in a Supreme Power and show us that our position and place in this world is very limited. Destiny can change any minute. We must always learn to show gratitude to one and all and live peacefully with everybody. We never know what is going to happen and when our time and on this Earth is going to be over. –Sandhya Ramachandran. Sunderblogger.053 The subject is: Happiness Is Not Everything The idea of happiness is a kind of ignorance. If your understanding is healthy, then you will never give too much importance to happiness; we do so because of our ignorance. Happiness is not the idea, purpose or aim of life; happiness is a consequence, a fruit. Happiness is a subject of the senses. The scope of the senses is limited and the senses are completely unaware of the greatness of life. If you are just following your senses, you are indulging them. Understand the game of the senses, and then go beyond them. Discover that portion of life, that part of life that can give us something permanent, the highest knowledge of life, the highest clarity in life. What we understand by happiness lies on the surface. When you live at a deeper level, you give importance to clarity of consciousness which gives you information on the purpose of your existence; it gives you purpose. Once this is clear everything come to you, including contentment and balance. Best Wishes! Sunder Thadani 20150501

Finding Contentment People are discontent. Because of this discontent, there is no peace in the world. the scientists and the technologists are thinking. "If we can make a very luxurious type of lifestyle, everyone will be content." So we have luxurious skyscrapers, but many times people are jumping off them to commit suicide. We have big airplanes, but we also terrorists putting bombs in them. We spent billions of dollars of taxpayer`s money. For what? For some contentment and peace in life. Who has found it? The truth is that human life is meant for the ultimate pleasure, the ultimate contentment and the ultimate realisation of the love of God. Without self-realisation, a human being is miserable and unfortunate- Radhanath Swami. Male and FemaleBoth male and female incarnations are equally necessary for Self-knowledge. Though there are difference between the nature of the respective facilities afforded by them, they are both indispensable. The soul must go through male births as well as female births if it is to have that richness of experience which is a condition of attaining realisation that the soul, in itself, is beyond all forms of quality- including the accentuated duality based on sex.

Before the soul is set free from all samskaras, it assumes numerous male forms and numerous female forms. Its experience would remain one-side and incomplete. Sunderblogger.051 India is emerging as managerial number one in the world. In 2009 Indian companies have raised billions from global markets, to finance foreign takeovers, and internal expansion. This far exceeded the inflow of foreign direct investment [around $10 billion]. This is the real revolution of 2006, India as left behind the stage of being seen as global suppliers of soft ware, generic drugs and auto components. It is now seen as a global managerial power, one that can take over multinationals across the world and improve their performance. So, global financiers are tripping over one another to fund foreign acquisitions by Indian companies. The world now believes that Indian are excellent managers, better than those in several American and European countries Hundreds of Indian companies have become MNCs with growing empires. Day is not far, when ICIC Bank takes over Citibank, when Infosys acquired IBM, when Reliance takes over Exxon; and Tata Motors take over General Motors, and of course Times of India should take over the New York Times. Sunderblogger.050 According to Akamai Technologies’ latest State of the Internet report, India has currently 2.1 million unique IPs, which means the country has 0.002 IPs per capita or two unique IP addresses per 1,000 people. An IP (Internet Protocol) address is a unique 32-bit number, which identifies a computer in an IP network. The State of the Internet report also reveals that the percentage of broadband connections from India with speeds above 5 Mbps (high broadband) and 2 Mbps (broadband) are 0.6 per cent and 4.6 per cent respectively. The percentage of connections with speeds less than 256 Kbps from India is 26 per cent. Sanjay Singh, vice president, Global Services and Support, Akamai Technologies, has said, “Our global network of 36,000 servers across 70 countries enables us to offer unique insight into how the internet is being leveraged around the world. While the report notes that India has just two unique IPs per 1,000 people on average, we believe India’s internet penetration will significantly increase in the coming years, thanks in part to the economic boom and increasing IT adoption.” Best Wishes, Sunder Thadani. 20150426

Thoughts are Powerful: The way you think is crucial to the development of your soul. You are the sum of your thoughts, words and deeds. Thoughts come first, and words and deeds arise out of thought- positive or negative thinking. That is why it is very important to think positively. Eventually all thoughts create energy, so be aware of what energy you are creating. Negativity can be a soul characteristic or a result of bad training in this life. But mainly human beings get negative when they do not get what they want. Negativity is an outcome of wrong understanding and a weak, uncontrolled, untrained mind. It is up to you to think positively to combat this because your thoughts eventually manifest in the form of emotions. This is why thoughts are powerful. They manifest physically and emotionally and they shape your soul. Negativity becomes a habit, a way of living for many people. Even though there is nothing wrong with their lives, they are so used to being hopeless, cynical, and bitter and defeated that they are constantly putting out their energy. Like attracts like. Therefore negative people attract negative people and situations towards them, and pattern is very harmful (for their lives) - Khorshed Bavnagri. Sunderblogger.049 In the ICE (information, communication, and entertainment) age, life is characterized by stiff competition. The anxiety to keep ahead in the rat race and the urge to garner material benefits is ripping us apart. Relationships have taken a beating and marriage is losing its sheen. From a marriage of convenience it has now transformed into a game of compromises. Giving each other space, understanding work cultures and the pressure that comes along, sharing domestic responsibilities top the list. Partners need to have faith in each other, shed their egos and be ready to talk things out instead of fighting. Practicality is the word. Along with an easy-going attitude, there should be the zeal to support their respective families. It is necessary to draw the demarcating line between personal and professional lives. Being supportive of each other regarding professional decisions, coming up with suggestion but not imposing upon the partner are important for a successful marriage. Best Wishes! Sunderblogger.048 It is feeding the inner world wherein in each one us a `sage` dwells. Once connected to this sage our decisions are taken from deep within and we no longer need approval of others. A peaceful life is essentially a simple one and hence effortless. The sheer simplicity of peaceful life is a magnet that attracts, for deep within we identify with it. To be simple is not something external; we have to become simple and natural from within, be open to our own internal self1, and perform actions knowing where they are leading to. One has to consciously bring about this change, as “to change externally is just a cosmetic change; it is feeding the inner world wherein in each one us a `sage` dwells. Sunderblogger.044 Destroy those envying roots and enjoy lasting peace. Just be aware when the feeling of jealousy arises, and you will be surprise, it simply disappears. Jealousy cannot be overcome either by escaping from it or hating the object of jealousy. Understand the way out of jealousy is not be surprising it or denying its existence. Expressing and encouraging it is also not the way because then you are not ready to face he jealousy with awareness. Just watch how jealousy arise in you, how it develops into hatred for the object of jealousy, how it creates restlessness and frustration inside you and make you lose all of your peace and calm. Do not condemn the object of jealousy. The object has not generated the emotions from outside. The jealousy is happening inside you. The fire of jealousy can just consume you completely if you don’t control it with the fire extinguisher of you awareness. Once you witness your jealousy with awareness, you will realize that it does not have a basis for existence at all. When this happens jealously will drop automatically. You won`t have to drop it. Mumbai, India: Government Railway Police (GRP) is introducing a new scheme for city stations to have "police mitra".

What is the scheme? It is a compiled database of food stall workers, shoeshine boys, coolies, and cabbies, present at every station, to act as "eyes and ears" of the police. The cops will train them on how to gather intelligence and spot suspicious activities as well as help the commuters trying to locate a police station. The tricky part will be to differentiate rogue cabbies from the others

Areas to be covered

.

At lease 3 to 4 mitras will be present on each of the 471 railway platform in the city. The have been armed with the GRP`s helpline Numbers

Saved by Diversity There is a couplet in Sanskrit that says, "It is because lions are lazy, snakes are scared, and intellectuals have difference of opinions, that there is happiness on the planet". Just imagine if lions were very active, they would have finished all the animals in the forest in no time. So the laziness of the lion is a boon to the forest. Similarly, serpents are so scared and because of their fear we are saved. In the same way, the differing opinions of intellectuals makes the world a better place. We would have no diversity on the planet if everyone thought the same thing.Imagine, if everyone goes to a restaurant and eats only one thing, there will be no variety in the restaurant. Diverse viewpoints make the world a better place to live in. Sunderblogger.041 Religion seeks to give a sense of meaning and direction to human existence, providing us with understanding of whom and what we are. Accordingly, it is inextricably bound up with the different components of our human identity-as individuals, spouses, members of families, communities and nations. These are the expanding circles of our human identity, each of which has its place and value. Sociological analysis indicates that much of problems of alienation and disorientation within modern society are the result of a loss of traditional components of human identity. Best Wishes! Sunderblogger.040 Hope is the spring board of all activity. A new hour, a new dawn and a new year, all hold out hope. Hope can also spring forth in a manner that is unconnected with us. A good turn of events for someone else can kindle hope in us. However, hope could turn out to be a double-edged sword. Unfulfilled hope can be devastating, as in business, love and competitive situations. Grief might blur one`s vision but the flicker of hope helps us navigate the darkness of despair. Unified mind is the key to peace, happiness and fullness. It can help us see t he whole picture rather than get trapped in ephemeral details. Not everyone might turn out to be a Beethoven or Stephen Hawking. However, by not getting disheartened by setbacks and by finding ways to overcome difficulties, we can learn to appreciated and enjoy whatever we have instead of calling it quits. Thank it over Everyone here is in need of genuine care, Even the strongest souls at times despair; Money and luxuries are the things that come later, A helping hand and acts of love are the things you must cater. Everyone want to talk, no one wants to listen, Everyone wants to feel secure, for others they fail to endure. Everone wants to be respected no one wants to respect, Life is very short our negative feelings we must suspect. Nothing is valued until it is lost, Because every action has its own cost, What we gave to others and did for their welfare. Before pointing our finger, let us first reflect, For with every bad deed out good ones would deflect. Let us stop judging because even we don`t want to be judged, Let us start because it is amazing to be loved. -Anam Gwallori This appeared in a local newspaper known as DNA and the content is now reproduced for the information and benefit of the members of "sundercircle". Acquiring Humility-How does one acquire humility? *Pray. When you pray genuinely and regularity, you are constantly aware of the fact that you are created by God. This will keep you humble. *Understand co-existence and unity. God created everyone equal. So the moment you consider yourself superior to someone else, there is a flaw in your thinking. We all come to Earth with different gifts for our own tests, training and mission, so there is no question of being superior.*Learn how to serve others. The ego wants to fulfil its own desires, but humility leads to the path of service. * Be open and understand someone else `s point of view. *Accept your flaws; only then can you change. * Be compassionate. Keep others` feeling in mind. Be considerate. This is said by Khorshed Bhavnagri in a local paper (and is now reproduced for the information and benefit of the members of "sundercircle" Kind Regards! Sunderblogger.036 Boredom is a state of mind in that state, nothing appeals to us, nothing excites us, and ad nothing interests us. Boredom is not something that hits us from outside; It`s nothing external. It is not like day and night or like the seasons that are inevitable. Boredom is the mind, though it might be related to the presence or absence of people, events or material elements that are outside the person The most common reason for boredom is when one does not have anything worthwhile to do. Take up a hobby, call up old friends or relatives, start writing a journal, learn a new art like drawing, painting, or music, remember all the things you wanted to do, but could not do due to a genuine lack of time. Like everything, boredom too has its benefits. If you use the time effectively and creatively. Otherwise, you can keep complaining that you are bored, and waste the one and only life that God has given you, in a bored, mundane fashion. Feeling bored is also a choice- no one is stopping you from going ahead and doing all those things that could make your life interesting or exciting, except yourself. Perfect Charity: Charity is of three types: Charity for the body; charity for the mind and charity for the soul. To give food, shelter, clothes and hospitalization is charity for the body. To encourage people to be good to others and to be friendly is charity for the mind. Tod give transcendental knowledge and facilities for the people to be educated in spiritual life is charity for the soul. All three must go together side by side. We should definitely help the poor by giving what they need to maintain their bodies. But we should not neglect the rich either. They are suffering too. Eighty per cent of the people in the upper-income bracket have to take sleeping pills to fall asleep. What does that mean? All strata of society- whether rich or poor - are in need of the charity of transcendental knowledge - Radhanath Swami (This appeared in a local paper and is now reproduced for the information and benefit of the members of "sundercircle". What is Love Love should be a force that helps you expand your life and bring forth your innate potential with fresh and dynamic vitality. That is the ideal but, as the saying "Love is blind" illustrates, people often lose all objectivity when they fall in love. Mind is Key to Health The word `disease` is often associated with ailment, but rather it points to a state of dis-ease, both in body and mind. Our sages said millennia ago, that body just manifests what goes on in the mind. Therefore, a diseased body is definite indication that it is actually the mind which is not `at ease` and needs to be primarily addressed. Several diseases once thought to be merely physical dysfunction, have been found to be actually psychosomatic in origin. Ind today`s highly competitive, cut throat world, stress and tension are major killers. When mind is able to remain calm, quite and balanced in any situation, then, even if the body is unwell, it it supported to heal itself. Most interestingly, it has often been the case that terminally ill cancer patients undergo spontaneous remission once they work at cultivating a healthy stress-free mind- this is what wrote by Anandmurti Gurumaa in a local paper, and is now reproduced for the information and benefit of the members of "sundercicle. Sunderblogger.035 With consciousness we have created very beautiful concepts, and one of them is the idea of relationships. Whatever we create, whatever we discover is to make life more comfortable, beautiful, peaceful and happy. We invest our mental spiritual and psychic energies in building relationships. The first relationship has to be with you. You must have a very clear relationship with yourself, knowing why you think in particular way and so on. The first step is to be aware of your own self. Secondly, why do we want a relationship? Is it for happiness, for security? If that is so, the best source of what we call happiness and security is the Divine. What is Divinity? Divinity is present everywhere, also in those you consider close to you. And having a close relationship with your psyche can give you everything you need. Relationship sours primarily due to ego. Use your ego. But do not allow your ego to use you. It is a tool. If you know how to use it, it will build you and give you many wonderful things. If the ego is using you, you will see ego everywhere. Only ego sees ego. Ego is without substance: a lack of knowledge, a lack of light. Hate s too much love. You never hate someone you don`t know. Exams Minus Stress Stress and worry from the pressure to excel in examinations can result in ill-health-even suicide. Students try to cope. But instead of just managing stress, is permanent relief possible? Yes, We can learn to lean on something wiser than ourselves. "Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don`t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God`s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he`s the one who will keep you on track. "(Bible) The all-knowing, all-loved God or divine Mind is ever-present to give us the intelligence and understanding we need. How? Through prayer that affirms God is our true Mind. "The divine is the Soul of men, and gives man dominion over all things," said Mary Baker Eddy. Turning to the divine source of wisdom and intelligence, we can find reassurance and relief from the fear and self-doubt that cause stress about exams.said by Abby Matthai in a local newspaper. Master Your Mind- Your mind will not be confined by any limits or barriers. The mind is its own space; the mind is its own power. This is certainly a good thing for the mind. But the negative aspect of this is that the mind is restless. It cannot be still; its feet are burning; it cannot stop; it will not stay in one place; it keeps on wondering! Do not attempt to fight the mind- for the mind can be a formidable enemy! Make friends with it. Say to it gently, as you would tell a stubborn child that it would be good for it to focus on the Divine Presence. Allow your mind to savors the peace that this can bring. Can you try a little exercise? Every time you become aware that the mind wonders, quietly, gently, lovingly, sweetly, bring the mind back to the Divine Presence. It is not easy! Even as you become aware that the mind is wandering, we are wondering with the mind! However, do your best to stop the wondering mind in its tracks, and bring it lovingly back to the Divine Presence? Repeat this simple exercise over a period of three to six months. You will be amazed at the change that this brings in your life! Your life will become new! Kind Regards Sunder Thadani – 20150408

Matter and Spirit: Proper adjustment between the material and the spiritual aspects of life is not secured by giving equal importance to them. It is not secured by taking something from the material and something from the spiritual and then striking a balance between the two. The spirit must and ever will have an inviolable primacy over matter.; however, the primacy is not expressed by avoiding or rejecting matter but rather by using it as an adequate vehicle for the expression of the spirit. Just as a musical instrument is valuable only if it gives expression to the song of the musician and become a hindrance if it does not yield complete subservience, matter is valuable if it gives free expression to the creative flow of life and becomes an obstacle if it interferes with it- Mehar Baba [This appeared in a local newspaper, and not it is reproduced for the benefit and information of the members of, "sundercirlce". Mumbaikars: It seems that we, as a city, do not deserve the god things we get. Needing less than a month to reduce these trains to this state qualifies us for a half-of-shame entry. Officials should look at increasing the penalty for this crime- for this is nothing short of a crime -but we need to behave more responsibly and take pride in what we get to use. New Western Railway local coach cost= 42 crores per rake. Introduced on track - March 18, 2015. In service 2 -Expected in future =70. Within 15 days of introduction of these new rakes, one finds paan stains and trash on outside and inside of the coaches. Even Hand-Grips go missing. and trash is piling up. Shame to Mumbaikars, we have zero civil sense or nil national spirit or lack of culture. . Kind Regards. Sunder Thadani. 20150405

Humility is Godliness What does it mean to be humble? All the knowledge you possess, the skills that you have and the goodness that exists within you flows through you Your mind, body and spirit are fortunate to be a channel for that flow of goodness. According to spiritual law, that flow will be drawn to humility. As channels you are servers and thus co-creators. But the moment you feel proud, you choose to operate alone and disconnect yourself from God, and you will be left with your mind and body which are extremely limited- Khorshed Bhavnagri (this article appeared in a local paper DNA, and now is reproduced for the information and benefit of the members of "sundercircle". Trappings of Power

Power can be measured. Its volume, its weight, its momentum can all be brought within the purview of mathematics. So it is the endeavour of those who hold power to be supreme, to increase in bulk. They would repeatedly multiply numbers- the number of men, the number of coins, the number of appliances. What they strive for success they sacrifice others` wealth, others` rights, others` lives; for sacrifice is the essence of the cult of Power; and the earth is running red with the blood of that sacrifice- Rabindranath Tagore. Sunderblogger.031 Boredom is a state of mind in that state, nothing appeals to us, nothing excites us, and nothing interests us. Like everything, boredom too has its benefits if you use the time effectively and creatively. Otherwise, you can keep complaining that you are bored, and waste the one and only life that God has given you, in a bored, mundane fashion. Feeling bored is also a choice- no one is stopping you from going ahead and doing all those things that could make your life interesting or exciting, except yourself. Best Wishes: sunder.
